These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Comic Collector license server and related services (“Service”) operated by Dustin Lincoln (“we,” “us,” or “our”) at dustinlincoln.com.

By purchasing, activating, or using a Comic Collector license key, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Service Description

The Service provides license key management and premium extension delivery for the Comic Collector WordPress plugin. Specifically, the Service handles:

– License key activation and deactivation
– Periodic license validation
– Delivery of premium extension packages to authorized sites

2. License Keys

Each license key is sold for use on the number of sites specified at the time of purchase. You may activate and deactivate your license key to move it between sites, subject to the activation limit of your plan.

License keys are non-transferable. You may not share, sell, sublicense, or distribute your license key to any third party.

We reserve the right to revoke a license key if it is found to be used in violation of these Terms, including unauthorized redistribution of premium extensions.

3. Premium Extensions

Premium extensions downloaded through the Service are licensed, not sold. Your license grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the extension on the number of WordPress sites permitted by your license plan.

You may not redistribute, resell, or publicly share any premium extension files. All extensions remain the intellectual property of Dustin Lincoln.

4. Data Transmitted

When the Comic Collector plugin communicates with the Service, it transmits the following data:

– Your license key
– Your site URL (the WordPress home URL of the site where the plugin is installed)
– The product or extension slug being activated, deactivated, validated, or downloaded

No personal visitor data, email addresses, usernames, passwords, or payment information is transmitted to the Service by the plugin.

5. Availability

We strive to keep the Service available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. The Comic Collector plugin is designed to cache license validation results so that temporary Service unavailability does not disrupt plugin functionality.

6. Refunds

If you are unsatisfied with a premium extension, you may request a refund within 14 days of purchase. Refund requests should be sent to dustin@dustinlincoln.com. Upon refund, your license key will be deactivated.

7. Limitation of Liability

The Service and all premium extensions are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service or any premium extension.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Louisiana, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
