When the Comic Collector WordPress plugin communicates with our Service, it transmits the following data:

– License key: The license key entered by the site administrator.
– Site URL: The WordPress home URL of the site where the plugin is installed.
– Product slug: An identifier for the Comic Collector plugin or premium extension being activated, validated, or downloaded.

This data is transmitted only when the site administrator performs a license action (activation, deactivation, or validation) or installs a premium extension. No data is sent automatically on page loads or to site visitors.

We do not collect:
– Personal information of your site’s visitors
– Email addresses, usernames, or passwords through the plugin
– Browser fingerprints or tracking data through the plugin
– Payment or financial information through the plugin (purchases are handled by our payment processor)

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected data solely to:

– Verify that your license key is valid and active
– Enforce activation limits per your license plan
– Deliver premium extension downloads to authorized sites

3. Data Storage and Retention

License activation records (license key, site URL, product slug, and activation date) are stored on our server for the duration of your license. If you deactivate your license or request deletion, the associated site URL is removed from our activation records.

Our server is hosted in the United States.

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties. Your information is only accessible to us for the purposes described in this policy.

The sole exception is our hosting and infrastructure providers, who may process data as part of delivering the Service. These providers are bound by their own privacy policies and do not have independent rights to your data.

The license server API does not set cookies. If you visit dustinlincoln.com directly in a browser, standard web server logs (IP address, user agent, pages visited) may be recorded. These logs are used for security and troubleshooting purposes only and are not shared with third parties.

We take reasonable measures to protect your data, including encrypted HTTPS connections for all API communications between the plugin and our server. However, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

The Service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, contact us and we will promptly delete it.
