CC Offers brings a complete make-an-offer negotiation system to your Comic Collector storefront, giving buyers a frictionless way to start a conversation about price and giving you full control over every deal.
When a visitor browses your public collection and spots a comic marked “For Sale,” they will see a simple “Make an Offer” button. They can submit their offer amount, name, email, and an optional message without needing to create an account or log in. Rate limiting protects you from spam, and every submission lands in your centralized Offer Inbox inside WordPress.
The Offer Inbox organizes everything by status: Pending, Countered, Accepted, Declined, and Expired. From here you can accept an offer with one click, send a counter-offer with your own price and a personal message, decline, or delete. If a buyer counters back, the entire back-and-forth negotiation chain is preserved in a visual timeline so you never lose context.
Every action triggers a professionally branded email notification. Buyers receive styled HTML emails that match your seller branding (name, logo, and colors from your Comic Collector settings). Counter-offer emails include one-click Accept and Counter buttons so buyers can respond instantly from their inbox without visiting your site. Accepted offer emails include a direct WooCommerce checkout link so the buyer can pay immediately.
When you accept an offer, CC Offers automatically creates a WooCommerce order at the agreed price. The buyer’s cart reflects the negotiated amount, and once payment is received, the comic moves to your Sold archive with the sale price, buyer name, and a “sold via: offer” notation recorded for your records.
You will never need to manually chase stale offers. The built-in lifecycle system automatically expires pending and countered offers after a configurable window (default 14 days), optionally notifies buyers when their offers expire, and cleans up old declined and expired records after a retention period you control. Everything runs on a background schedule with zero manual upkeep.
Your dashboard widget gives you a quick snapshot of pending offers, active counter-offers, and the total value of accepted offers over the past 30 days. Configuration is simple: set your expiry window, retention period, and notification preferences from a dedicated settings tab inside Comic Collector.
